[Important Notice] Beware of Suspicious Messages Regarding Booking.com Reservations

Thank you for choosing our hotel.

We have recently become aware of cases where suspicious messages mimicking Booking.com or our hotel are being sent to guests who have booked through Booking.com. It has been reported that these messages request credit card or personal information and direct users to links on external websites.

Please note: Booking.com will NEVER ask you to provide personal or payment information through an external link. While our hotel may occasionally request credit card or other information via external links, we will always send such requests through our official hotel communication channels. If you receive any suspicious messages or unfamiliar links, please be sure to verify them with our hotel before entering any data (please contact us via our inquiry form).

■ Characteristics of Suspicious Messages (Examples):

  • Requests to update or re-enter your payment/credit card information.
  • Links directing you to external websites outside of Booking.com.
  • Language emphasizing urgency, such as “Urgent” or “Action Required within a deadline.”
  • Unnatural phrasing or sender information that does not match Booking.com or our hotel.

■ Requests to Our Guests: If you receive a suspicious message, please take the following precautions:

  • Do not click on any links in messages that are unfamiliar or cannot be verified as official.
  • Never enter your credit card or personal information on these linked pages.
  • Check your actual reservation status through the official Booking.com app or website. If you notice anything unusual, please contact Booking.com Customer Support or reach out to us directly via the “Inquiry Form” on our official hotel website.

We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in ensuring a safe and comfortable stay with us.

Manager, Gion Kyoka
